Our Last days in Maine

We are starting to head South into Virginia, namely into Jamestown.  It is going to be very interesting to me. Both sides of my Dad's family came to Jamestown 1 year apart.

But for now we are still in Maine. Friday we spent the day doing what we both love. Mike went on a 3.5 mile hike and I went shopping. After I picked him up, we went to lunch at Pat's Pizza near our RV. We both have read that it was supposed to be a terrific pizza. Knowing me and my love for pizza, you will know that I am always on the search for the best pizza. I wasn't "wowed" by any means. I had a basil pesto chicken pizza and it was quite bland. The crust was up there but not quite comparable to a wood-fire oven pizza. (That is my favorite)

Mike had a Buffalo chicken pizza, but he isn't as picky as I am. LOL

After lunch, we went on the hunt for lobster for dinner. We kind of got spoiled after we found a fisherman selling them out of his own shop last Friday. He was only charging $6 a pound.  We got 2 Lobsters for $20. We went back today and he was closed.😢 We ended up buying some closer to us for nearly $11 a lb. 😲

Bummed that we didn't get to see the most spectacular show of Fall colors, but enjoyed see the beauty that is Maine.
